At First Baptist Church Terry, our ministries exist to help people of all ages grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, build meaningful community, and serve others in love. Whether you’re a child, student, or adult, there is a place for you to connect, grow, and belong.


Silver Belles

The Silver Belles is a caring group of ladies who meet once a month for encouragement, fellowship, and support. This ministry provides a loving community for women as they walk through seasons of life together, offering strength and comfort during times of loss, grief, illness, and change.



39ers

The 39ers is a monthly fellowship group for both ladies and gentlemen who come together to enjoy food, friendship, and meaningful connection. It is a time of laughter, encouragement, and building lasting relationships within the church family.


Men’s Ministry

Our Men’s Ministry encourages spiritual growth, fellowship, and service among the men of our church. Throughout the year, we host events such as Brotherhood Breakfasts, Valentine’s Luncheon, Grillin’ and Chillin’ gatherings, and other fellowship opportunities designed to strengthen faith and relationships.



Women’s Ministry

The Women’s Ministry provides opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and service through a variety of events and activities throughout the year. These include Joy Night, Vintage Christmas, Bible studies, retreat weekends, service projects, Operation Shoe Box, and more. Our desire is to encourage women in every season of life to grow deeper in Christ and in community with one another.


Children’s Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry is dedicated to helping kids learn about Jesus in a fun, safe, and engaging environment.

  • Sunday School: 9:15 AM
  • Childrens Church: 10:30 AM
  • GA / RA / Mission Friends: Wednesdays at 6:30 PM

We desire to lay a strong biblical foundation in the lives of children while partnering with families to help them grow in faith. Throughout the year our children's committee plans various events like VBS, Summer Fest, Fall Festival, and many more. 




Youth Ministry

Our Youth Ministry exists to help students grow in their faith, build strong friendships, and live out the Gospel in their daily lives.

  • Sunday School: 9:15 AM
  • Sunday Bible Study: 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday Bible Study: 6:30 PM

Throughout the year, students participate in exciting events such as On Ramp, Fall Retreat, DNOW, Senior Recognition, Summer Camp, and more. We are committed to discipling students and helping them follow Jesus wholeheartedly.


WORSHIP MINISTRY

The purpose of the Worship Ministry is to use music and song to provide an environment for people to glorify God and experience life transformation. 

Our Music Ministry leads our church in Christ-centered worship through song and praise.

  • Adult Choir: Sundays at 4:30 PM
  • Little Angels Choir: Wednesdays at 6:00 PM

Through music, we seek to glorify God, encourage believers, and prepare hearts for worship and the Word.
